Bank-Level Security
We use AES-256 encryption for all sensitive data. We only access read-only permissions for your connected financial accounts (Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave). We can never move your funds.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Connected Financial Accounts
When you connect your Stripe, Paystack, or banking accounts, we collect read-only transaction data to verify your Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Churn, and Growth metrics.
1.2 Personal Information
We collect your name, email address, and LinkedIn profile information to verify your identity as a founder or investor.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate verified "Legible" listings for potential investors.
- To rank your startup on our public MRR Leaderboard (only if you opt-in).
- To match you with vetted acquirers or investors.
- To detect fraud and wash trading attempts.
3. Data Sharing & Visibility
Public Listings: By default, your verified MRR and growth metrics are visible to registered investors. Your exact customer list and bank balance are never shared publicly.
Private Mode: You can choose to hide your listing or make it anonymous (blurring your name/logo) until you approve an access request.
